Beauty Boxes

We all know that girls love make-up! So it's no surprise that beauty boxes are becoming more popular.

I have been kept from this innovative idea that seems to be creeping up from nowhere and fast becoming a popular way to try out new make-up, beauty products and brands.

The only ones that I have looked into are Glossybox and Birchbox. It can be a monthly subscription or a pre-paid plan. A box costs £10 a month with a little for p&p.

You get the chance to receive 5 products that are anything related to beauty and make-up, some are full size others are mini versions. However, this is a good idea because then if you like it you can buy the bigger version or if your skin reacts you haven't wasted money on a big bottle.

Also helps if you are living the student lifestyle. I know that most students find it hard with money so this could be the best for girls who love make up and products but find it difficult to be able to afford their usual stuff (which sometimes can be really expensive!!!)

If anybody knows of anymore please feel free to comment and let us know.

I am thinking of subscribing to Glossybox!

I have just found an article that Allure think are the best 8 sampling services to try.

All that crystals and Nike blazers!

I have recently become a major fan of Converse.
(only a small collection though!).

But there's a new hype going around of crystalling shoes and more importantly, Nike Blazers.
I personally don't own a pair of these but can't help looking at them every time I go into Office.

I am craving a pair of these (21st bday soon). Pictures I've seen of facebook have made them look really cute and girly. Click HERE

But I'm just not sure on whether its tacky, whats your guys opinions??

L'oreal Paris, Wild Ombre Preference!

Heyy guyss!!

So my friend and I have both been wanting to dip dye our hair for a long time now.
On a day like today when the sun isn't really shining and there's not much going on a girly shopping day is a must.

Me and my friends were in Boots and looking at the high dye, when we came across L'oreal Preference dip dye. Now from the box (pic posted below) you can clearly see that her hair is two different colours. The look that we were trying to achieve was for me to have my tips quite blonde; my friend just wanted her to be lighter, similar to the girl on the box.
Now I know that not every colour turns of the same as what is shown. But a similar colour would be preferable.

The instruction tell you the amount of time to leave it on for the desirable colour. 45 mins for blonde and 25 mins for a lighter browny/ blonde.

For me the results were not as expected and I'm quite disappointed with the outcome.
The product costs £6.99, not salon price but still expect it to be near salon professional.

As you can see it hasn't really took. (the light is slightly bad) its more of a reddy/ gingery looking colour.
Not the blonde look like I was after.

Anybody got any recommendations for effective dip dye??

Fashion Wishlist ##1

Everyone needs a little sun..

This is my first post so I hope you guys enjoy!

We've found ourselves nearly half way through June and I can honestly say that I haven't even had the opportunity to go out and sun bathe with all my girlies. The sun has made an appearance on a few occasions but I've found them to be when I've been at work (sad times!)

If you're like me and seem to have very pale skin, I can probably imagine you're regretting not booking a summer holiday to Turkey or Spain. This is where spray tans and self-tanning products take center stage.

I, myself, have had a few disasters with tanning myself, the dreaded tangerine/ tango look. However, I happened to be Boots purchasing a few essentials when I came across the 3 for 2 offer they have on (bargain). The offer included some tanning products. I found a No.7 Gradual Tan. It's a body lotion that you apply every day and it contains gentle tanning ingredients, which leaves a natural colour.
There's no need to exfoliate or anything before hand, just apply!!

Its a bargain at £9.95.
(I used to pay up to £30 for a self tan before and didn't find it to be half as good as this one!)

Found at Boots, bottle size is 200ml.

Anyone suggest any other gradual tans that are good?
